THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN GOD AND MAN

Before I go on to present the content of this piece of work, I will first of all wish to propose an idea that I have understood concerning religion in the world. It is clear and understood that there exist many different religions with different proclamation. Such religion includes Christianity, Islam, etc. Because of this diversity of religion there have been several contradictions to know which the best religion is. The Christians say the way to heaven is Jesus Christ while the Muslims say is Mohamed. But what is very interesting in this issue is that at least all of these religions understand that there is a God who lives in heaven and they must worship him the right way so as to stay with Him in heaven for life everlasting.

It should be understood that every person tends to behave in the way he/she is brought up. Probably I am a Christian today because my ancestors were Christian and I was brought up that way. If my ancestors were Hindus, of course I would  also be a Hindus.

In conclusion, I am saying that there is only one God in Heaven and this one God can be worshiped in several ways  depending on your ancestral background. Hence there is no need criticizing others way of worshiping God for that is their own tradition and what you are practising is your tradition. Worship God in your own way and let others worship God in theirs.

 I pray that this few words go a long way to abolish religious conflicts.

ACCORDING TO THE HOLY BIBLE;

In the beginning after God had created everything, God said, “let us make man out of our image and according to our likeness.” This implies man has the image of God and hence man is like God. The difference between man and God was that man knew only Good and did not know evil; hence, God was taking care of Man like a new born baby. God gave man everything free without man asking.

When man disobeyed God, he discovered evil. God said in Genesis 2:26, “here the man has become like one of us in knowing good and bad and in order that he may not put his hands out and actually takes the fruit also from the tree of life and eat and live for live indefinite.” God sent man out of the garden of Eden, so that man can now work for himself since he can differentiate between the good and the bad. So God wants  man to decide on the good things for himself.

“In the beginning was the word the word was with God and the word was God.”(John 1:1) So the word became flesh and receded among us. This word is Jesus, the son of God   Almighty who came so that we may know the way to follow. What has come into existence through him is life and this life is the light of men. Jesus came to show us the way to follow, He did many miracles meaning man can also do many miracles (with God all things are possible).

The difference between Jesus and an ordinary man is that, the miracles he did while on earth have no condition because He was Holy from the beginning. However, man from far back became unholy and needs to fulfill some certain conditions in order to perform this miracle in the name of God.

God sent man out of the Garden of Eden not actually because he hates man but He wanted man to realize that all Good virtues of life come from Him the Almighty God. So  man must ask from Him in order to receive. That is why the Bible says in Mathew 7:7 “ask and you will receive.”
