AND ACCESSING INTERNET ADDRESSES
Internet search: information can be
gotten through the internet either directly with application of the web site or
indirectly by the use of a search engine. A search engine is a website main for
tracking information concerning an event e.g. Google search etc. the website is
a location where information about an organization or establishment can be
gotten. The peace of information that directs you to a website location is
known as a link.
To access a web page on the internet, a browser is
needed. Example of browser includes; Mozilla Firefox, internet explorer,
Netscape navigator, etc.

How
to create an email address. (e.g. Yahoomail)
1)
Make sure there is a valid network (internet)
connection.
2)
Launch any available installed browser (e.g.
Mozilla Firefox).
4)
Strike enter on the keyboard (wait for loading
to complete)
5)
Click on “Sign Up” (wait for loading and an
information page will open).
6)
Fill in all the required information (take note
of the ID and Password)
7)
Click on create account (a congratulatory
message will appear if the address is registered and confirm).

Fill in the requested information using your
already created ID (email address).

on create account.
How To Access An Email Address

Enter the requested information (ie. The Email

Click on Inbox to view received messages. To
read a message, left click on it once.

Click on New or click on Compose then Mail to
sent an email. Note you must enter the receivers ID.

After typing the mail, click on Send

Click on attach to upload a file and add to the
email

or click on Application and the attachment to
view attached files.

CREATING A NETWORK
CONNECTION

Under the control Pane, click on Networks and
internet connections.

Click on setup or change your internet
connection.

Click on connection and then click on setup.

Click on next and select connect to internet.

Select set up my connection manually and click
on next.

Select connect using dial up modem if you are
using a modem or select using a broad band connection that requires a user name
and password if you are using a cable modem and click next.
-
For Dial – up Modem, enter the ISP name and
click Next.

Enter the phone number and select next.
-
Enter the user name and password then click on
next.
-
Select Add a shortcut to this connection to the
desktop and click on Finish to finalize the connection.
